The old Jenkins UI has the "Build Executor Status" that indicates the current job queue (and runnign jobs). There does not appear to be a way to visualise this in the Blue Ocean UI.

Users should be able to see a list of current running and queued jobs from the Blue Ocean UI. This is partly achieved by "favourites" but this only shows you an overview of the job branches you have favourite'd manually and it is not useful or practical to favourite everything.

A possible UI suggestion would be something similar to the way email are composed in Gmail - a popup box at the bottom of the page that shows the build queue. This follows you around screen-to-screen and can be easily minimised. The minimisation should be stored in a cookie or similar so the decision to show/hide is remembered.
