Pipeline View in Jenkins 2.32.2 fails to connect with the error: The connection was reset.

For troubleshooting I did some google searches looking for the error and found nothing related to this. Also looked in /var/log/jenkins/jenkins.log and nothing comes up. If I change build pipeline settings to use one of the other options, the console info appears but that is not what we want.
