Experimental support for analyzing Maven artifacts from the Jenkins plugin was introduced on June 23, 2014. This feature never quite worked right nor was there any incentive for it to be improved since the official Dependency-Check Maven plugin did a far better job.

This feature was deprecated on August 3, 2015 with a note stating that it will be removed in a future release.
