Currently we can configure the scaling down behavior by specifying 'Max Idle Minutes Before Scaledown'.

For scaling up there are no options.

It would be nice to be able to fully configure the scaling up behavior, using parameters such as:

• Number of jobs in queue
• Percentage of fleet executors used
• Percentage of fleet executors free
• Number of fleet executors free

A way this could be implemented is to allow the user to enter an mathematical expression using these kind of variables.

Additionally (or alternatively) you could offer a dropdown with sensible pre-defined strategies, based on these variables.

Apart from that it should be possible to configure delays.

• Delay between launching nodes
