Setting up MSBuild on windows Slave Machine having Master in Ubantu

      Dear Team i am trying to setup Slave machine which runs on windows server 2016 and master on Ubantu machine

      I am trying to setup MSBuild on Slave machine but it is not showing me MS Buuld on Jenkins 

      Note i alreadu installed MS Build Plugin

          But JENKINS-36138 is closed as Not a deffect. marshall777 and oleg_nenashev is this meaning that is not supported?

          I am facing the same issue that you cannot set the location in the slave machine, only in the global configuration.

          Just tried it with msbuild plugin 1.27 on Jenkins 2.73.2 and 1.625 : it seems to work well.

          You need to define an installation in the global configuration. Then go to the node page -> Configure -> Check "Tool Locations" and you will be able to override the location of msbuild for this node.
