It would be really helpful if the promoted builds plugin permitted promotional processes to run in concurrence. We have a single job which kicks off approximately 30 builds of the same promoted build job. The blocking nature of this process means that a single task which takes 5-10m to complete can take at least 2.5-5 hours for the entire process to complete.

          I agree it is a useful feature. I have no capacity to work on it anytime soon, so I am going to remove the assignee. Anybody can pick it and propose a pull request, I will do my best to review and and integrate it

          My suggestion would be to add an opt-in flag here. Then the value of this flag can be returned from the https://javadoc.jenkins-ci.org/hudson/model/AbstractProject.html#isConcurrentBuild-- override
