Issue with the graphs and image gallery.

Seems it works right after the job is done but disappears sometime after. Also seems like a bug on Jenkins side.

Seems like a  bug with the plugin that displays the images and graphs that prevents the images from appearing on the builds after a few hours.  Merely updating the plugin didn't fix the issue. We deleted and recreated the image gallery plugin config for each job. Still the same issue.

          Hi amazboudi,

          >Any update on this issue? Let us know if you require more info.

Thank you and john_gregg for providing further information. I believe we have everything necessary to try reproduce the issue and try to fix it.

If you have time to provide a fix for this, I'd be happy to merge it and cut a new release of the plug-in. CloudBees, Praqma, and other companies provide commercial support in case you need an urgent fix.

I'll start working on it as soon as I have time. As I am volunteering hours, I have to balance with family, friends, work, and other things I spend my time with. But again, if you have a patch or pull request, I'd be happy to review and try a new release within a few days.

          Cheers

          Bruno

Bumping this issue. Any update on the issue we reported on September of last year?

          Hi Ahmad,

No updates from me yet, sorry. Haven't had time to work on it.

If you have an urgency on this issue, please consider submitting a pull request. I released TestLink and TAP plugin some days ago, both were updated via pull requests from other volunteers.

Or if you have budget for it, you can hire services from companies such as Praqma, CloudBees, and the likes that work on issues in Jenkins plugins.

          Cheers

          Hey kinow,

Unfortunately we are not able to  provide a fix for this nor it seems we will be able to secure commercial support. Hopefully you can get to it when you have time. Thanks Again.

From what I can tell, this was fixed in the following commit: https://github.com/jenkinsci/image-gallery-plugin/commit/d17880bb9a308d7818687c82134b9ceed9f37155

That commit hasn't been released. Could someone with The Power please create a new release of this plugin so that it is usable for more than a handful of hours after job completion?

Sure thing cottsay. Releasing now, unless something goes wrong with the Maven process, it should be available in the next hours.

Connection timedout uploading the pom (looks like the hpi went through). Will have more time tonight to try the release of 1.5 again.

Available in the experimental update center, as 2.0-alpha-1.

In order to release the plug-in, had to update the version of Jenkins it it built against. That resulted in new Findbugs issues. Fixing some of these errors, I realized I am not too sure about backward compatibility now.

So bumped up the version to 2.0, and did a bit more of cleaning, like removing deprecated methods and fields.

I will release the 2.0 version of the plugin by the next weekend if there are no issues reported for this alpha release.

          Thanks!
