Currently 'checkout scm' step fails for jobs that are not 'MultiPipeline' job or 'Pipeline' is not configured to checkout of SCM. 

We have a shared-library across the company that is used by users creating various types of jobs. In order to checkout scm only for jobs that has SCM configured, is there any way I could verify this configuration and only then checkout scm??
