As shown in the screenshot, Jenkins keeps queuing a job it could not build, during its SCM polls and Branch Indexing runs.

I earlier complained it happens while workers are busy, but (see screenshot) it seems to also happen when the job did not succeed. So it retries the same failed commit until it succeeds.

I am ready to accept there can be some bug in my configuration/setup; but given it was an almost hands-off configuration of a GHO folder, I am not sure where and what I could have done wrong. And the screenshot is pretty
