It would be nice to have a way to display timestamps as

1. relative to the last line,
2. relative to the build step, or
3. relative to an arbitrary log line

The first would be useful for getting the build time for individual object files quickly without having to subtract numbers.

The second and third are useful for comparing the logs of different builds when the SCM checkout takes different amounts of time due to network congestion or transfer size.
