UTF-8 characters in filenames checked out via svn-plugin on slaves turn to question marks

      UTF-8 characters in filenames checked out via svn-plugin on ssh-slaves turn to question marks.
      Running exaclty the same job on the master works.
      Running a svn checkout in a Shell step via command line on the slave also works.

      Both, master and slave, are configured with

      • RedHat 6.8
      • Java 1.8
      • LANG=en_US.UTF-8
      • file.encoding=UTF-8
      • sun.jnu.encoding=UTF-8

      Is there something more what I can do to debug this?
