Jenkins v2.61, p4 v1.6.2, project-inheritance-plugin v2.0.0
I just gave it a try: I've setup a base class job using project-inheritance-plugin.
Inside I've specified a Perforce repo based on a stream. The initial saving has been successfull.
Problem is when trying to change the base class now: I cannot 'Save' the settings if the P4 plugin reports a problem, e.g.
1) 'Not currently connected to a Perforce server'
2) 'Stream name shouldn't null or empty.'
and so on ...
Always a nasty dialog with that warning/error message blocks saving the settings. Based on the description of the inheritance plugin this is intentional. Not being connected to a Perforce server should not raise an error here?
Not sure how to solve resp. who resp. which plugin?
