Data gathered by statistics-gatherer-plugin is in JSON format and it would be extremely useful to have an option to configure the plugin to post data to a mongodb instance.

Currently there is a very similar functionality already implemented into Build-failure-analyzer plugin (BFA), which is able to feed information into mongodb.
