      Hi,

I'm not sure it's related to this bogue:

      https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-50311?jql=text%20~%20%22can%27t%20logout%20google%20login%22

... since I do not have the 404 error as he described.

      Just to resume the flow:

      1. I click on "Logout" at the right top
      2. I'm redirected to "http://XXXXXX/securityRealm/loggedOut" that shows me "You have successfully logged out."
      3. If I go now to "http://XXXXXX/" I'm still logged in

And it's an infinite loop, I will never be logged out

      Thanks for your help,

[JENKINS-51692] Cannot logout from the Google Login plugin

Do you allow read-only users to access your site? If not, then trying to access the root URL will naturally result in a user being redirected to the login process with Google even if they do not specifically click on "Login"

If you still feel this is a defect, please provide a HAR file recording of the steps you list above.

recampbell No I'm not allowing read-only users. Also, I tried to access an administrative page after being logged out and I'm logged in too.

While looking at the network Chrome DevTools I saw I was receiving an 403 response after having clicked on "Logout" and trying to reach a new page, but just after that it automatically redirects me to the same page while being logged in this time.

It happens whatever the page I try to reach after being logging out:

          • Root /
          • /manage
          • ...

Here is the HAR file (I have removed 1 <table> containing the list of repositories), hope it could help : har-jenkins

I think that even if I'm logged into my Google Account, Jenkins should show me the login page to either confirm I want to continue with one account of the list or asking email/password.

Otherwise am I suppose to switch of account? (even it does not happen very often ^^)

May it's not a big issue but I prefer to "warn you"

I don't want to logout from Gmail, just want my app or Jenkins to be logged out.

Is there any solution for this issue?
