At present, the edit window for entering raw yaml for a Kubernetes pod template uses a proportional font. Hand-editing this raw yaml could be a lot easier of that edit window used a monospace font.

Existing raw yaml editor looks like this:

The inline Pipeline editor, for example, looks like this. It even has handy lines in it to show you indentations, etc.

Just yesterday, I made an editing mistake that I think could have been avoided had the yaml been easier to see in that edit window.
