It would be useful to expose the gerrit change status as a pipeline parameter or environment variable in order to accordingly customize the pipeline.

For instance by detecting that the change is "work in progress" do not spam the team member with mail. If the status is "private" do not execute some of the test...

The ticket is somehow linked to the JENKINS-50547 one (support WIP) but should be easier to implement.
