Problem statement

• AWS flavor does not work because overridden pinned certificates are not used anymore.
• Kohsuke hit a PKIX issue trying to create a Pipeline and adding a GH personal access token

Expected behaviour

These should work ootb.

We discussed this a bit with rtyler and we want to move away from the current solution of using that generate-ca-certificates and pinned certificates (as per designed in JEP 307). We'll work out something simpler/different for this purpose.
We prefer to move away from this because we're convinced we'll keep hitting such issues as we go and get actual users.
