I noticed the problem with this variable, but it may be more general.

When I submit a job, even changing something completely unrelated to clearcase configuration, and there is a run ongoing, it seems that this environment variable (used in the first step of my freestyle project inside a batch command) is replaced by nothing and therefore, the run fails.

If I relaunch the same job afterwards, the run is ok.

i'am sorry for the enconvinece of my duplicating this error, but it was because i have compile 'trunk' of the ClearCase plugin and using it in a test invironment, but it seems that the log functionnalyti is gone backwards,
what i meen is that after i have deployet the HPI file i'd copiled the log was written without newline so nomatter how much log information there is it all place on the first line

jes8, I don't think your problem is related to this issue.

Please open a new issue with a more detailed description of your problem.
Please specify OS you are running with (master, slave) and what editor you are using. Your problem may be that logs are written using unix separator (\n) so depending on your editor on Windows, you won't see them properly.

I haven't experienced the problem for a while, I'm guessing it has more to do with Hudson core than with Clearcase plugin, so I'm closing this
