      The ApiStep sketched in JENKINS-41272 is one step towards deprecating RunWrapper, but it does not cover all cases. RunWrapper currently allows users to set the following build information:

      • Description
      • Display Name
      • Whether to keep build records forever
      • Result

      We should provide a standalone step with the same behavior to help deprecate RunWrapper.
