Unable to connect checkmrax plugin and Checkmarx server was not found on the specified adress: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect

      After Successful installation of Jenkins, i have installed Checkmarx plugin. while testing TLS/SSL Server Certificate Validation, test connection was failed. Got the error like "Checkmarx server was not found on the specified address: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect".

      please let me know how to connect Jenkins to Checkmarx. is there any ports needs to open? if yes, kindly let me know the port number to be opened?

          1. uncheck the TLS/SSL server validation  box.
          2. If you are able to access Checkmarx URL from your browser, then i don't think you need any port open , unless your Jenkins instance in some other server which is behind some firewall.
          3. Check you enter the correct URL in the jenkins, --> checkmarx URL box
          4. remember in Cx i add user as SSO******** , then give the same in jenkins checkmarx plugin, you might be only entering the SSO not SSO*******( means your SSO) . Give it a try enter same as in Chcekmarx user managemnet your SSo is added.
