To configure build parameters across multiple jobs, I installed this plugin and set a build parameter with text type in a job.

Next I went to the "Parameters" page of the plugin and updated the parameter value, but the parameter type had been changed from original text type to string type.

1. Create a job.
2. Add a build parameter with text type in the job configuration page.
3. Update the parameter value in "Parameters" page and save.

The parameter type is changed from text type to string type.
