When trying to update the entries in the update center, the screen "please wait" remains forever when you don't have an internet connection on your client machine (which I didn't). There are some possible solutions

1.) Add a notice that you need internet access for this
2.) Check for internet access
3.) Add a timeout
4.) Add an abort button
5.) Make the update center use the internet connection of the server
