We noticed that updating or creating a new Openstack credential doesn't work properly since 2.46 version of the openstack-cloud-plugin.

It looks like that the "User Name" field of the credential is missing after saving the modifications (openstack auth v3 in our case).

The result is authentication errors with openstack.
After rollbacking to 2.45, our problem was solved.
