While executing the git client plugin automated tests with command line git 2.22.0 on my Windows computer, I was presented twice with a Windows dialog to select a credentials helper.

Something has changed or been added to command line git 2.22.0 credential management that is not being handled by the git client plugin.

Current work around is to use an older version of command line git, like 2.21.1 or 2.21.0.
