Notifications from our Jenkins bot on an IRC channel and in a private chat are prefixed by "(notice)" string. See if it can be removed (perhaps optionally, kept in place by default - maybe someone else relied on it and possibly its other values to filter, highlight, etc. in their IM clients.

Not sure at the moment if this applies only to IRC or to other IM protocols as well.
