The File Operations plugin offers a means to untar a file, which is nice. The file can be gzip-ed, which is even nicer.
Yet, for some reason, other compression-methods aren't supported and the operations fail with .tar.bz2 and .tar.xz files.
On my FreeBSD machine, I don't even need to tell tar about the compression – using libarchive the tool deals with it automatically, recognizing both the fact and the kind of compression-method.
I'd think, it is fair to expect a seamless handling of the popular formats in addition to gzip's...
