I have downgraded "OWASP Markup Formatter" to 1.8 and see no improvement. Maybe there is something else causing this?

This works for me with plugin version 1.17 and formatter 1.8 on Jenkins ver. 2.204.5
Without a way to reproduce there isn't much I can do to help.
Maybe you are actually using a different markup formatter?

Michał Kochanowicz check under Manage Jenkins > Configure Global Security > Markup Formatter. By default it's set to Plain Text but you can change it to Safe HTML. I've checked this with both OWASP Markup Formatter 1.8 and 2.0.

Gregory Paciga I've never touched this option so it must have been flipped with some upgrade. Thank you!
