Jenkins URL can not be changed if the hostname change

      Linux

      On linux with hostname: test, install jenkinsĀ  2.234-1.1Ā 

      everything works fine. http://test:8080

      change the hostname to prod using hostnamectl

      go to Manage jenkins => configuration =>Ā Jenkins URL

      set the new URL: http://prod:8080

      restart jenkins

      http://prod:8080Ā is redirected to http://test:8080

      The issue is not critical in HTTP but in HTTPS the SSL certificate become invalid
