It would be nice if Administrator of Orchestrator has available a feature for killing reservation and release a node back to the pool if necessary and there isn't an other way except restart the Orchestrator.
This would be helpful especially in the situation when Executor doesn't respond to Api.reportUsage() call and Orchestrator tracks a node as reserved for it - in this particular case a node will be reserved indefinitely.
