The Jenkins worskspace cleanup thread can remove workspaces on rarely used build slaves. We therefore recomend that you manage workspaces through 'p4-plugin' cleanup and disable the automated workspace cleanup by adding the following to the Jenkins startup arguments :
-Dhudson.model.WorkspaceCleanupThread.disabled=true
