Weather status does not update when builds in branches have failed

      Jenkins 2.274'ish and newer. Around the time that the UI got a facelift.

      We get build that fail for one reason or the other. On the branch overview, the weather icon changes status, however the weather icon on the application overview is still a full sun.

      The below images are taken from a newly updated Jenkins (2.285), but the error appears prior to the image-updates.
