Multibranch job (PR) continues even after failure due to merge conflict

      The error can be observed in a multi branch pipeline when running a job for a PR which causes merge conflicts. The pipeline continues without the source code from the repo.
      The output is inconclusive in that there is no error message in the logs and it just fails on the next step that requires a file from the repo.
