When installing on LEAP 15.3 the install completes however when you try and run jenkins the starting of the service registers as succesfull but nothing is executed and the HOME DIR is no populated.

Run the same installation setup on LEAP 15.2 and the process runs as expected and the service is present after running the start service command

[JENKINS-66277] Jenkins Not Running on openSUSE LEAP 15.3

Confirmed by me as well that openSUSE Leap 15.3 does not run Jenkins 2.305 or Jenkins 2.306 or Jenkins 2.289.3.

I was initially unable to install PR-266 on OpenSUSE 15.3. I was also unable to install 2.331 on OpenSUSE 15.3. I suspect additional command line options are required in order to disable all checking of gpg signatures.

Eventually I was able to make it run by using chkconfig on jenkins from the insserv package to enable the Jenkins service. Once that was done, then a mixture of systemctl and chkconfig were able to make it run. Still needs more work before we're ready to provide OpenSUSE installation instructions in the Jenkins documentation.

The automated tests in jenkinsci/packaging are using openSUSE Leap 15.3, so as far as I know this should be working. darkrabbit can you please test with 2.339 and/or 2.332.1 and confirm that the issue has been resolved? Thanks!
