updating plugin from 1.3.1  to  2.0.5  destroys a custom configuration

      repository-connector plugin: 1.3.1 -> 2.0.5

      updating the repository-connector plugin from  1.3.1   to    2.0.5  destroys is custom configuration. 

      we are using an inhouse nexus; the configuration got replaced by central maven while updating the plugin.
      config file: org.jvnet.hudson.plugins.repositoryconnector.RepositoryConfiguration.xml

      I did the updating 2 times; re-producable.
