Workflow directory for build persist on master

      Hi,

      For every pipeline job we have a workflow directory that holds XMLs.

      I think these XMLs are for checkpoints for the latest status of the build.

      This folder is persist on the master node even when the job is finished.

      Do we need it after the build is finished?

      Why Jenkins not automatically remove it when the build ended

          Doesn't the "Pipeline Steps" page (flowGraphTable) use those files? And perhaps the Pipeline Graph View plugin as well.

          I don't know for sure, I've deleted it and I don't see any problem.

          By looking at the content of these XML files I can guess it has file for every pipeline step, it contains the result of the command.
