ansicolor plugin breaks startup

    Description

      with ansicolor plugin 1.0.0 all started up well.
      with ansicolor plugin 1.0.1 the startup totally failed.

      sorry but i am running that in a highly automated environment (doing whole instance rollouts) - thus its hard to get hands on any sort of intermediate outputs.
