Based on your limited descriptions, others won't be able to help you. You've not provided enough information for anyone else to duplicate the problem or investigate the problem. Based on your description, I assume that the quirks mode did not change between the working case and the failing case, the Jenkins version did not change, and nothing else changed except the passage of time. Based on those assumptions, I'll plan to close this bug as "cannot duplicate" if you don't provide additional information.

If Quirks mode is not an issue, I'll remove That from Bug Description, Thanks.

You've not provided enough information for anyone else to duplicate the problem or investigate the problem.

Can you duplicate the problem on another computer?

If so, what was the environment (operating system, Java version, browser version, firewall configuration, virus scanner configuration, web browser extension configuration, proxy configuration, etc.) where you duplicated the problem?

What were the steps you used to install Jenkins on that other computer so that you could duplicate the problem?

What steps have you found that provide a working configuration?

What's different between the broken configuration and the working configuration?

I again failed in my attempt to duplicate the problem as you're reported it. The steps I took were:

          1. Create a plugins.txt file with the attached content as in plugins.txt
          2. Download the plugin versions specified there with the command
            mkdir plugins; java -jar ../jenkins-plugin-manager-2.12.1.jar --jenkins-version 2.319.1 --latest false --plugin-download-directory plugins --plugin-file plugins.txt
          3. Start Jenkins with those plugin versions using the command JENKINS_HOME=. java -jar ../jenkins-2.319.1.war
          4. Enter the administrator password that is displayed in the log output
          5. Choose to install specific plugins, then select "None" so that the install wizard does not install any additional plugins
          6. Confirm that Jenkins is correctly displayed on my Google Chrome web browser

There are many plugins that need to be updated in your installation. One of those plugins is the subject of a security advisory. It may not change the behavior you're seeing in any way, but it is worthwhile to update your plugins to the most recent releases so that you have the latest fixes.

          HI,

Thanks and proud for your time.

I failed in duplicating the same issue on another machine.

I have specified the limited environment details already above.

As I mentioned earlier, I am running Jenkins with the help of docker.

I have some suspicious docker logs while running my Jenkins which I was missed before, and the issue was not resolved till now. I wish to share here the logs.

I have attached my Jenkins docker-container logs (Please if you wish).

          Attachment : jenkins-log.txt

I don't understand why the jenkins-log.txt file includes a reference to githubassets.com. That is not referenced in the Jenkins core source code. I wonder if there is some web browser plugin or some firewall setting on that computer that is damaging the data coming from Jenkins. I propose we close this as "Cannot duplicate"
