Sometime we need do maintenance task on k8s clusters, such as
a) k8s version upgrade
b) adjust startup args and restart core components
c) os maintenance and reboot

We would like to put "kubernetes cloud" in maintenance mode to avoid job failures since pods maybe evicted/deleted in cordon & drain nodes, I think it can be done by introducing a Boolean flag and checkbox on UI can make it work

Is the feature legit one? do you accept PR?
