          danile42 if you are interested in other steps that can modernize a Jenkins plugin, you might review the notes from the DevOps World 2021 "Contributing to Open Source" workshop. It includes many steps that can reduce the maintenance effort for a Jenkins plugin and has a five part video series to support it.

          Updating the parent pom is one of the early steps and can already provide benefits to the developer experience.
