When I use p4sync in pipeline or freestyle project the ideal way I would expect it to work is the following:

• Create Workspace
• Copy all depot-view mapped files to workspace

And this should be automatic, right or am I taking something for granted?

What does not work is that it automatically does it.

I approved that sycing works by deleting some files and running the job again but I can't get it to automatically copy all files into the workspace by just running the job when the workspace is empty.

The logs are from an immediate run after setting up the job as shown in job.png.

Workspace stays empty, checking in P4 Helix Core GUI shows that workspace is created and mapping took place. I would have manually get the latest revision and then syncing seems to do what I want it to do.

Can someone tell me if this is intended or a bug? Maybe I am doing something work in regards to settings my wanted szenario up?
