It happens that plugin got their artifact ID not as expected, like with a "-plugin" at the end, or with a typo, etc.

Currently changing artifact ID means that you are loosing your current users.

This ticket is about providing a way to migrate existing users to your new artifact ID.

Of course, this should be secured to avoid "artifact ID takeover", by letting only the maintainer of current plugin to decide about such migration.
