The AWS Java SDK has released a version which adds the new Mac M1 machines to the InstanceType enum (https://github.com/aws/aws-sdk-java/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md#112267-2022-07-22)

The Jenkins EC2 Plugin seems to rely on that enum to determine which instance types can be launched from what I understand. We'd like to switch to these new M1 instances for our iOS build farm.

Dependabot seems to open PRs to bump the internal AWS Java SDK version for the plugin like this one: https://github.com/jenkinsci/aws-java-sdk-plugin/pull/784 – I think it should hopefully just be a matter of merging this and releasing a new plugin version.
