When building a manual Job and using the Editable Mail Step, all globally set variables like System From Adress, recipients lists, default subject, ... are honored.

 

When using the same step in a pipeline script, ALL fields must be specified manually. This feels not correct, as the steps behave differently based on origin of usage.

 

Proposal: when fields are not specified, like to: or from: automatically use same defaults as the UI step does
