The administrative monitor about unsafe Windows AMI configuration Unsafe Windows EC2 templates found cannot be dismissed:

The *Dismiss* button redirects to the Manage Jenkins page but the monitor stays there.

A workaround is to disable the EC2 Weak Host Key Verification Strategies Monitor entirely under *Manage Jenkins > Configure System > Administrative Monitors*

Reproduction Steps

• Install the Amazon EC2 plugin
• Manage Jenkins -> Manage Nodes and Clouds -> Configure Clouds
• Add Amazon EC2 cloud then add AMI.
• For AMI Type select windows. Then check *Allow Self Signed Certificate* and Save
• Then on Manage Jenkins page you should see the broken admin monitor message and clicking the Dismiss button does not dismiss the message.
