Logging this against this plugin since it's this plugin's upgrade that started the issue.  I have a feeling that the problem is elsewhere in a dependency.   But have to log it against something.

Basically, I get "method not found" on ObjectUtils/StringUtils for methods introduced after 3.5.  When I check the dependency tree other plugins override the commons-lang3-api-plugin.
