https://github.com/jenkinsci/jenkins/pull/6408 is part of Jenkins 2.380 now. Tippy and the underlying Popper library have several options to define the placement of the tooltips. Right now, we are using the same placement for all tooltips. It would be helpful, if those options could be exposed as properties. Otherwise tooltips will not always appear at the correct position.

In the example screenshot the tooltips appear in the upper right corner of the associated div, it would be better if it would appear at the mouse position.
