    • Type: Bug
    • Resolution: Unresolved
    • Priority: Major
    • Component/s: kubernetes-plugin
    • Environment:
      Jenkins 2.361.3
      EKS
      Kubernetes plugin: Kubernetes
      Version3734.v562b_b_a_627ea_c

The Jenkins run on EKS and we use kubernetes jenkins plugin to spwan the pods.

Whenever a jenkins pods restarts and if the job were running as pods spawned by kubernetes plugin , the already running pods do not restartĀ  when jenkins pod comes up again,Ā  and are stuck and need to be terminatedĀ

Ideally running Jenkins job should pick up execution from the state when jenkins controller comes back online after restart.

Currently job does not proceed and get stuck and have to be terminated manually.
