      There's two problems:

      1) There are random line breaks between the build item's header and the date. This seems to be a regression as I haven't seen it in 2.401. You can see the additional space in the lower item, the upper item is drawn correctly.

      2) The build item's header and date line is randomly cut off. In the screenshot the 't' letter is cut off in both build items, even though they both have plenty of space. Where a label gets cut off seems random and makes it hard to read the items.

I don't see an issue with the line breaks at unexpected locations, but I am surprised at the line break that is not on a word boundary. I'm using a Chromebook with https://weekly.ci.jenkins.io . Looks like this:

          O hi Mark,

I tested the url you pointed to and they are rendered fine for me as well, however, my Jenkins instance exhibits the weird formatting errors. I am using Safari on a Mac.

Fwiw the random extra line breaks seems like a new issue as I didn't see them in 2.401. The text strings getting cut off have been there forever for me.

Can you think of anything that could be affecting it so I could look into it further?

          Thanks so much!

I think that the most effective technique for further investigation would be to bisect the Jenkins core builds to identify the commit that introduced the change. That would mean you would build Jenkins locally and test it interactively at each point in the bisect operation.

Another alternative would be to check Jenkins 2.404 (released today) to see if the issue is resolved.

Another alternative would be to read the changes in the commits that happened since the version that was well behaved.

with https://github.com/jenkinsci/jenkins/pull/9148 the build history widget was reimplemented making much better use of the space and is not showing strange line wraps
