You've ignored that detailed documentation, made a general statement that "it doesn't work", and then asked for an update from an inactive contributor. That path is unlikely to help you find a solution for the issue you are describing.

If you really want a solution for the issue you are describing, then you'll need to describe the issue well enough so that others can duplicate the issue. You'll need to provide enough details so that others understand the versions you're running. You'll need to follow the instructions in "How to report an issue" in detail.
