I have edited the existing view to add a new job on it. After save, the monitor is completly empty. I also cannot re-add jobs...

Currently, you can manually edit config.xml and add back jobs to the monitor view and restart Jenkins afterward....

Yes, thank you, I did just that.  And I kept a backup of the file, just in case.

Will this issue be resolved in the next release?  I love the Build Monitor!

Same issue on our site. We currently workaround using the regex-based job selection but that's a bit too greedy to be used going forward.

Having the same issue on newest version as well as on our previous one 1.13+build.202202120254. Old Build Monitor pages work, but when edited all jobs are gone and cannot add new ones.

Plugins update/downgrade, system restart does not help.

Happened to us also. Restoring config.xml and bouncing not proving effective either. Hoping for an update here soon

So, I just upgraded the Build Monitor plugin to the latest release, just released on 7/7/23 (1.14-740.v1df20e5c64b_b_) but the error still occurs.

I wanted to edit my jobs and with the current version (1.14-740.v1df20e5c64b_b_) and the previous version the same error message in the log and all jobs in the view gone.
